Brief History
From 2002 through 2005, schools throughout Southeastern Europe and the United States partnered up to participate in what was referred to as the School Connectivity Project. This project culminated with an International Student Conference which was held in Macedonia in the Spring of 2004. The project was sponsored by the United States Department of State and Catholic Relief Services. In 2005 teachers from Southeastern Europe were hosted by schools throughout the United States in hopes of fostering continuation of the work that was started during the previous years. Global Connectivity is an attempt to continue to develop collaborative projects between students world wide. In 2005 Palestine was added (through a project sponsored by Relief International - Schools Online) to the list of schools that have some collaborative learning process with one or more of the schools above. If you would like your school to join us in collaborative learning, please have your teacher contact pfarrell@smrhs.org . Please keep in mind that English must be used in this learning experience.
